Our Experience and Customers
How it all began
"How do you actually come to found a survival school?" – we hear this question often. The honest answer: it just happened.
Our trainers have shared a passion for nature, adventure, and outdoor sports for many years. Whether skiing, hunting, fishing, climbing, kayaking, first aid, or long trekking tours – being outdoors was never just a hobby for us, but a way of life.
Over the years, we made countless trips and excursions of our own. More and more often, requests came from friends and acquaintances: "Can we come along?", "Will you show us that too?" – this is how a real survival community grew step by step. Eventually, it became clear: we are founding the Schönbuch Academy.
Today, we have access to our own forest plots, areas from municipalities and communities, as well as our private land – here we can fully develop and impart real survival knowledge to you.
